Dr Teja Rama Krishna S
Dr. Teja is currently serving as Scientist-B (Medical) at the Clinical Studies and
Trials Unit (CSTU), Division of Development Research, Indian Council of Medical Research
(ICMR) Headquarters, New Delhi. He completed his MBBS from Apollo Institute of Medical
Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, and MD in Community and Family Medicine from the
All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh.
He is also pursuing a
Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.
At CSTU, Dr. Teja is involved in planning, coordination, and monitoring of multicentric
clinical trials and clinical research studies. His work includes protocol development,
trial site coordination, regulatory documentation, and ensuring adherence to Good
Clinical Practice (GCP) and national regulatory guidelines for clinical research
involving medical devices, diagnostics, and therapeutics.
His research interests include
clinical trials, non-communicable diseases, epidemiological surveillance, implementation
research, tuberculosis and One Health–based public health research. He has served as
Principal and Co-Principal Investigator in several research projects and has contributed
to multiple peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. He is a
recipient of the Young Primary Care Physician Award at the Family Medicine and Primary
Care Conference (FMPC) 2024.
