Dr. Sudipto Roy has been working in the field of public health for the past 14 years with experience in healthcare research, program management and delivery. After completing M.D. in Community Medicine from Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbaiin 2009, he joined WHO- National Polio Surveillance Project (NPSP) as Surveillance Medical Officer in the polio eradication programme in Bihar, India followed by experiences with FHI360 as a Technical Officer-HIV/STI in Mumbai in the Aastha project, funded by the BMGF and with Johns Hopkins University-CCGHE at Pune, B.J Medical College as a TB Research Coordinator.He has worked at KEMHRC Vadu, Pune as a research investigator in various community- based studies related to child health research as well as vaccine clinical trials. He currently holds the post of Scientist E at Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, in the division of Epidemiology and Communicable diseases. He has been involved in more than 15 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international and national journals. He has a keen interest in the field of epidemiology, especially in the domains of Infectious diseases and Maternal and Child Health. He has special interest in the field of Implementation research and has received grants and published manuscripts in this field.
